  Great place. Fantastic lineup for culture lovers. When booking tickets, avoid second balcony, unless front seat row. Almost any place else is good.

  Palau de la Musica Catalana is certainly one the great building to see and visit and Barcelona (which is saying a lot in a city so rich in architectural styles). There are paid visit however these are, in my opinion expensive. It is better to buy a ticket to one of the shows in the main room which will allow you to see the most important rooms you would see in the visit for no additional cost other than the cost of the show. I have seen a few there, one of the best is “The Four Guitars” which I have seen twice and highly recommend. You should arrive early to ensure you have time to see the building inside prior to the show start. There is a eating area where you can have simple meals or just coffee / tea and snacks, however the food is not amazing compared to the many options you have in the city and nearby, a the price is, as expectable, a little high.

  Beware of ordering cheaper seats because some have an impossible position where you might as well look at the beautiful mozaik and relief ceiling. After the doors closed we relocated to alternative seats that had remained unsold and they let us. Somewhat hard church like acoustics, but still tolerable. The Messiah performance was well chosen in the holiday season. We fully enjoyed the experience!

  Fantastic facilty. So beautiful. The tour was a bit expensive for what you got out of it so possibly try to get tickets for an event instead and read your history online. We did both and it is worth the ticket price to see/hear an event there. Sight line issues with some seats so take the staffs advice. If booking online do your research. Sides up high are tough.

  As a tourist in Barcelona, this is definitely a must. You have a wide range of music and dance acts to enjoy together with the beautiful modernistic architecture. If you are a local and you are 25 or younger, you can get very cheap tickets (between 3 and 7 Euros) at escena25.cat
