  Excellent care today 27 July 2017 at Urgencias. My son went in for a suspected apendicitis. Wait times were very reasonable. The medical teams were calm, efficient, professional, and very thorough. Several tests and an ultrasound exam later no operation was needed and we were eventually released with a different diagnosis. We feel very thankful for the level of care provided; very friendly, very professional and very patient-centered. Very impressive. Thank you.

  One of the best hospitals in the world. This wonderful building has in one side the hospital and in the other one the Public Medical School of Barcelona University. This two institutions are in very close contact, feature that gives to students the opportunity to do the medical practice with the best physicians of the country. The University also welcomes a lot of World Medical Congresses, again thing that evidences the prestige of the School.

  Travelling from Australia I developed a DVT. I attended at the emergency department at 9 o'clock this morning and was amazed at the level of service provided to me. I have no Spanish and we were provided with prompt and professional attention, my DVT was confirmed and a course of treatment prescribed so that with a couple of days rest I can continue my holiday. Thanks to all the staff for your great work.
