  Checked my credit card bill and have been charged £259.53 which i believe is the deposit which was never meant to get charged.

  Although the wait time is appalling (2.5 hours), this isn't limited to just InterRent at Barcelona Airport. However, I cannot fault them for anything else. The staff were friendly, they took no for an answer when I declined additional insurances/covers and once we were seen it took 10 minutes, as we had booked online... even returning the car was a piece of cake. The issue of the wait time was due to people turning up without a booking. All InterRent need is a Fast Track queue for pre-booked customers. Will be using them again this summer.

  I still don't understand how they managed to deceive me and take instead of 60€ - 210€! (Two payments, one only for "deposit"). Please be careful with these crooks! (All service was ok, and no accident)

  Booked via a 3rd party, was cheap and the 3rd party insurance had good coverage. Waited about an hr to be seen. Paid an extra €69 for roadside assist but this was optional.

  Never again. This was such a disappointment from the start. Waiting for 2 hours just a pick up car. Workers are not able speak English. They are making mistakes. They weather able block money from credit card and have to take a 300 euros from my debit card. I will not recommend you this company and I definitely recommend you to avoid this place because the arogancy and laziness is absolutely unbelievable. Just a next time a rather will pay more and have a better service than this.

  Looooooong wait in queue only for them to institute a numbered ticket system as we got to front. This pushed us back and added another half hour. Staff somewhat surly and very slow to achieve an outcome. Of any kind. It's a shame as Inter Rent were fine in Italy.

  Car was upgraded free of charge, it was spotless and a full tank.

  Handed it back in the same condition, other than needing a wash. No issues raised at the time.
