  Truly outstanding place. Decor is class not to mention all antique furniture gathered. It's not all put in one place without taste. The owner is great person to talk to, rooms are clean and tidy. The balcony is so huge you could do a decent party over there;-). Fully recommended.

  Barcelona is a great city and for us made even better by the fact that we stayed at Billy's B&B. Billy and his right hand man Siri run the place with efficiency and elan.

  STAY: Billy's B&B spreads out over 3 floors in a beautiful old building on one of the main streets in Barcelona - the kind where a caged elevator runs up through the stairway. Every room, every hallway, every corner is well appointed with beautiful antique furnishings. The tiled floors in themselves are works of art. The B&B is close to everything and Billy and Siri are more than happy to help you find your way to the best sites and eateries in town.

  DEPARTURE: My wife left a jacket in the room and didn't realize it until we'd arrived home a week later. With one phone call the jacket was found, wrapped, sent - and they wouldn't charge us for the postage.

  We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Billy. It is well situated - close to the metro and the day venue of the sonar festival. The rooms are all decorated nicely and the staff is nice and helpfull.

  ARRIVAL: We were driving to Barcelona from Madrid. We'd booked a few nights at Billy's and we looked at Google maps and were somewhat confident that we could find the place. But Siri, was waiting for us on the street by the door to make sure we didn't get lost. He pointed us to a local garage where we got a discount. (This is a big deal in cities in Spain as sometimes the daily parking fee can nearly match the daily hotel bill.)
